RigArmor's 100% cotton coverall comes in two fabric weights — 175 gsm for hot, humid outdoor work, and 270 gsm for heavy workshop and yard use. Both are plain woven cotton with reflective tape on the shoulders, sleeves and legs, available in six colours and sizes M to 5XL in European and Asian fits, with custom logo printing or embroidery. Read this before you order: this is a general-purpose work coverall. It is not flame-resistant and holds no FR certification. If your crews work near flash-fire, arc-flash or hot-work risk, you need a certified FR garment instead — see Where this coverall should not be used below.

Bulk pricing — the price per piece drops with order size

Mix any sizes, colours and fabric weights. The price break is based on the total number of coveralls in your order, not on how many you take of any one size — so a full mixed size run for a crew counts as a single quantity.

• Singapore — free delivery on orders of 25 pieces or more. Below that, a flat delivery charge applies at checkout.
• Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia — charged by weight at checkout. Those rates are deliberately conservative, so on anything above 25 pieces ask us for a freight quote before you order: consolidated air or sea freight with a Form E certificate of origin is almost always cheaper than the checkout rate.

175 gsm or 270 gsm: which cotton coverall do you need?

Fabric weight is the only difference between the two options. Cut, pockets, reflective tape layout, sizing and colours are identical.

Rule of thumb: if the work is outdoors in Southeast Asian heat and the garment is replaced often, take the 175 gsm. If the work involves metal, machinery or rough surfaces, the 270 gsm will outlast it several times over and usually costs less per year in use.

Choosing a colour for your crew

All six colours are stocked in both fabric weights and both fits, so colour is a free choice rather than a trade-off against availability. How buyers usually decide:

• Orange and red — highest daytime visibility. The usual pick for outdoor crews working around plant, vehicles or traffic, and the conventional colour for deck and marine work.
• Navy blue, blue and grey — hide grease, oil and general soiling far better, so they stay presentable longer in workshops, vehicle maintenance and fabrication. Navy is also the most common corporate uniform colour, which matters when the coverall carries your logo.
• White — conventional in food and beverage plants, pharmaceutical and cleanroom-adjacent work, and painting and decorating, where visible cleanliness is the point.

If your crews work across several of these environments, colour is also the cheapest way to distinguish teams, trades or contractors on the same site.

Where this coverall should not be used

We would rather lose an order than have this garment turn up somewhere it does not belong. Untreated cotton is flammable — it keeps burning after the ignition source is removed. Do not specify this coverall for:

• Refineries and petrochemical plants
• Upstream oil and gas, and LNG facilities
• Welding bays and any designated hot-work area
• Electrical utilities, or any area covered by an arc-flash risk assessment
• Any site where the operator mandates NFPA 2112, EN ISO 11612 or ISO 11611 — including PETRONAS FR-spec sites in Malaysia

Those environments require certified flame-resistant garments, which are built from different fabric at a different price point. They are a different product, not a premium version of this one. Tell us what your site requires and we will say plainly whether we can supply it.

Most of our orders are repeat purchase orders for issue kit rather than one-off buys. We can print or embroider your company logo on the chest and back, match a house colour, and hold an agreed size run across repeat shipments so your crews get a consistent garment every time.

Buying from Southeast Asia

Philippines

Under Republic Act 11058, Philippine employers, contractors and subcontractors must provide protective equipment to workers free of charge, with the cost carried as a separate pay item in the safety and health programme rather than deducted from wages. That makes work coveralls a recurring purchase-order line for contractors, manning agencies and ship chandlers, not a one-off buy. We supply buyers in Manila, Cebu and Batangas, including manning agencies kitting out deck and engine crew.

One caveat, stated plainly: PPE issued against a specific identified hazard must be of the type approved by DOLE for that hazard. This coverall is general workwear and is not certified hazard-specific PPE.

Singapore

Cotton coveralls enter Singapore at 0% import duty, with GST applied at the border, and there is no textile certification scheme to clear first. That keeps lead times short and landed cost predictable. Our Singapore buyers are mainly ship chandlers resupplying vessels, shipyard subcontractors, and facilities and logistics contractors.

Malaysia

Malaysia applies 0% duty to qualifying goods shipped from China under the ASEAN–China Free Trade Area, provided the shipment travels with a Form E certificate of origin — so ask for Form E on your purchase order rather than after the fact. Typical buyers are general contractors, manufacturing plants, palm oil operations and offshore support companies. Note the exclusion above: this coverall is not suitable for PETRONAS sites that specify flame-resistant clothing.

Common questions

Is this coverall flame-resistant or fire-retardant?

No. It is untreated 100% cotton with no flame-resistant finish and no FR certification of any kind. Any supplier telling you a plain cotton coverall is flame-resistant is either mistaken or misleading you.

What is the difference between the 175 gsm and 270 gsm coverall?

Fabric weight only. The 175 gsm is lighter and cooler and suits outdoor tropical work; the 270 gsm is heavier, more abrasion-resistant and lasts considerably longer in workshop and yard conditions. Cut, pockets, tape layout, colours and sizing are the same on both.

What sizes and colours are available?

Seven sizes — M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL and 5XL — in six colours: navy blue, blue, grey, red, orange and white. Every colour is available in both fabric weights and in either European or Asian fit. Asian fit runs slimmer through the chest and shorter in the sleeve and leg, which is worth specifying: a European size run issued to an Asian crew is the most common sizing complaint we hear.

Is it "coveralls", "cover alls", or a "boiler suit"?

All three describe the same one-piece garment. "Coverall" is the trade term used by buyers in the Philippines and Singapore; "cover alls" is a common misspelling of it. "Boiler suit" is the British term, well understood in Malaysia and the Gulf, though searching it locally tends to return fashion items rather than industrial workwear. Use "coverall" when you are writing a specification.

Can you supply marine engineer and deck crew uniforms?

Yes — this is one of the most common uses for the garment. A plain cotton coverall is standard issue for deck and engine-room general work, and manning agencies and ship chandlers order it in repeat volume. For engine-room work near hot surfaces, ask your safety officer whether an FR garment is required instead.

Can I mix colours and sizes in one order?

Yes, and it does not cost you the price break. The bulk tiers above are counted on the total number of coveralls in the order, so a mixed size run across two or three colours reaches 25, 50 or 100 pieces exactly the same way a single-size order would.

Can I get my company logo on the coveralls?

What is the minimum order quantity?

There is no minimum — you can buy a single coverall, with or without your logo on it. Bulk pricing begins at 25 pieces, which is one carton, and any mix of sizes, colours and fabric weights counts toward it. Most crew orders sit between 25 and 100 pieces: a coverall is normally issued two per worker per year, so a 20-person crew is a 40-piece order.

Do you supply a Form E certificate of origin?

Form E is the ASEAN–China FTA certificate of origin, and it is what reduces import duty to 0% in ASEAN member states. Raise it with us at quotation stage so it is written into the order rather than chased later.
